If you need to rent a car or SUV for your trip, make sure to book well in advance, to get the best possible rate. Most car rental companies have reduced their fleets this winter, and SUV's and Minivans may be especially hard to come by.

You can find money off deals for cars and SUV's for weekend or weekly trips. Look for deals that include unlimited mileage. You can often get a ski rack rental for no extra charge.
Look for ski trip rental specials for select car rental locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington, Maine, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Vermont. You can also find ski related deals in Calgary, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver.
When checking rates, I always recommend comparing rates by checking first with just your city, dates and times to get a base rate for comparison. Then check and compare any deals or online specials . If you can't find a deal or special that fits your needs, you may have a membership or affiliation that will give you a car rental discount code; check rates using that as well.
